Another Stakeout

Two greenhorn private investigators, unburdened by the weight of experience or tactful discretion, find themselves on the trail of a vital Mafia trial witness who's rumored to be taking refuge at a secluded lakeside abode. Along for the ride is an earnest and determined assistant district attorney who, despite her youth and inexperience, proves surprisingly resourceful as they all navigate the precarious dance around the criminal underworld. Their covert stakeout turns out to be more challenging than anticipated, not just due to the slippery nature of their quarry, but also due to the personal demons each must confront and overcome, in a story that blends elements of humor, suspense, and the complexities of human relationships against the backdrop of high-stakes organized crime.
