In the aftermath of traumatic events such as heists, violent robberies, and childhood sexual abuse, France's innovative restorative justice programmes aim to heal wounds by facilitating constructive dialogue between victims and offenders under supervision. Grégoire, Nawelle, and Sabine, who have all suffered from violent encounters, decide to embark on a challenging journey of confronting their past and seeking solace in these discussion groups. They engage with the perpetrators behind their ordeals, Nassim, Issa, and Thomas, who are all convicted felons. On another path towards healing, Chloé, a victim of childhood sexual abuse, prepares herself to face her abuser as he re-enters her life in their hometown. Through these complex interactions, the film sheds light on the intricacies and power of forgiveness and reconciliation in the aftermath of violent crime.
