Ajami

Ajami is a multicultural neighborhood in Tel Aviv where diverse communities—Arabs, Palestinians, Jews and Christians—coexist amidst complex tensions. The lives of these inhabitants intertwine in intricate ways, unfolding a web of shared struggles and challenges. Omar, an Israeli Arab, fights to protect his family from a dangerous criminal syndicate while pursuing a romantic relationship with the captivating Hadir, a Christian woman. In parallel, Malek, a hardworking yet undocumented Palestinian laborer, strives to accumulate funds for his mother's life-saving medical treatment. Meanwhile, Dando, an Israeli police officer, desperately searches for his missing brother who might have fallen victim to Palestinian violence.
