Janek and Wanda, a couple scraping by in a tiny room within a bustling villa occupied by various offices, find solace in Janek's frequent late nights at work to escape their claustrophobic living situation. However, their world is shaken when Malinowski, a former inhabitant of their cramped quarters, appears with an offer: swap their room for a larger, two-bedroom apartment he recently acquired.
