The Tough Ones

"The Tough Ones" delves into the lives of Antti and Jussi, two former convicts struggling to find their footing in society after being released from prison. Their past involves a bank robbery that resulted in one of them going down a different path - joining the police force. He tries to assist his friends in starting anew in a small town in Pohjanmaa; however, the allure of easy money leads Antti and Jussi to establish an underground liquor business, threatening to send them back to jail. The film explores themes of friendship, redemption, and the challenges faced by those with criminal records as they navigate re-entry into society.
