Three middle-aged friends, entwined by marriage and parenthood, face a rude awakening when they lose one of their own to an untimely demise. United by grief, they decide to shake up their humdrum lives and embark on an extended journey abroad. Leaving behind the familiarity of suburbia, they relish in their newfound freedom with reckless abandon. However, as the initial thrill begins to dissipate, the realities of their own mortality, marital strains, and lingering questions about life's purpose start to surface.
