The Purple Plain

Set within an RAF airfield in Burma during World War II, the film explores the darker side of one man's struggle with loss and guilt. Canadian bomber pilot Bill Forrester grapples with a heartbreaking past that has left him bitter and on the edge. His comrades see him as reckless, even mad, due to his dangerous behavior in war. It's up to Dr. Harris, the squadron physician, to attempt a journey of healing for this tormented soul, helping him confront his demons and find inner peace amidst the chaos of wartime.
