One Sings, the Other Doesn’t

In the backdrop of the transformative era of the women's movement in 1970s France, we are introduced to the intertwined lives of Pomme and Suzanne - two women who, despite coming from vastly different backgrounds, find solace and understanding in their friendship. Their initial meeting occurs when Pomme, an unconventional singer, assists Suzanne in obtaining a much-needed yet difficult abortion following her third pregnancy. They lose touch but reunite ten years later, where they share in each other's lives, navigating the complexities and dramas that come with their distinct female identities. As they both evolve through life, Pomme and Suzanne manage to maintain their bond as they navigate their paths through a rapidly changing world, all while affirming the power of their shared experiences as women.
