Spaced Invaders

A group of Martians accidentally discovers a radio broadcast of Orson Welles' famous "War of the Worlds" play while they are traversing through space. In their panic, they assume that Earth's Martian fleet is attacking and decide to investigate. Their search leads them to a small American town during Halloween celebrations, where their extraterrestrial appearance coincides with costumed trick-or-treaters.The film captures the comedy of mistaken identity as these alien beings struggle to convey the gravity of the situation to the unsuspecting humans around them, who are too preoccupied with the festivities to take notice of their arrival.
