The Kindred

In an unexpected twist of fate, John receives a deathbed request from his late mother, Amanda, that shakes the foundation of everything he knew about his past. As she lay dying, Amanda asks John to destroy all her research materials from an experiment she conducted; however, the revelation that he has a long-lost brother adds another layer of complexity. At the funeral, an enigmatic woman named Melissa approaches John and claims to be Amanda's biggest fan. Intrigued by her presence, John allows Melissa and some of his friends to accompany him to his mother's house in search of answers. As they sift through the mysterious contents left behind, a web of unforeseen secrets starts to unravel, challenging their understanding of their own family history and forcing them to confront the truth that lies hidden within the walls.
