Julien Donkey-Boy

Julien is a young man struggling to cope with his undiagnosed and untreated schizophrenia. Living in a chaotic household with his diverse family, he tries to navigate the challenges of everyday life. His younger sister Pearl, who is expecting a child, adds another layer of responsibility to their already complicated situation. Julien's anorexic brother Chris, an aspiring wrestler, battles his own demons while attempting to find his place in the world. Their grandmother provides a sympathetic ear and a stable presence, but even she can't alleviate the stress of dealing with their severely depressed German father. Through it all, Julien learns to understand and manage his condition as he grapples with the complex dynamics of his family.
