Air America

In the tumultuous backdrop of the Vietnam War, Air America serves as an unofficial lifeline for Laos, flying everything from troops to much-needed supplies for starving villagers. At the helm of one of these aircraft is Billy Covington, a former pilot whose career took a turn when he lost his license due to some reckless behavior. Now working for the CIA under its covert airline venture, Billy finds himself navigating not only treacherous skies but also the peculiar quirks and antics of his fellow pilots. As if flying amidst gun-running exploits by his friend Gene Ryack isn't enough, he soon learns that his superiors are engaged in a more sinister operation - smuggling opium.
