Sirens

In 1930s Australia, Reverend Anthony Campion and his reserved wife, Estella, are approached with an unusual task: visiting renowned painter Norman Lindsay to evaluate the content of his artwork for an international art exhibit. As Anthony and Lindsay engage in a heated intellectual debate concerning the artist's blasphemous work, Estella finds herself captivated by the three stunning models posing for Lindsay's latest piece: Sheela, who challenges traditional thought patterns; Pru, embodying sensuality; and Giddy, an embodiment of innocence. The film explores themes of artistic freedom, moral dilemmas, and personal growth as Estella navigates her newfound fascination with these intriguing women amidst the turbulent backdrop of societal norms and religious constraints.
