The Hard Way

In an effort to reinvent his acting career and secure the role of a lifetime as a gritty police officer, Hollywood star Nick Lang finds himself forming an unlikely partnership with New York City Police Captain Brix. As a fan of Nick's work, Brix proposes a unique solution for the actor to gain authenticity: shadow and learn from seasoned detective Lt. John Moss. However, this arrangement quickly becomes a challenge when the inquisitive and enthusiastic Nick begins to irritate John with his constant questions and attempts to emulate his every move. This distraction ultimately threatens their pursuit of a dangerous serial killer on the loose in the city. The film intertwines themes of ambition, the blurred line between reality and performance, and the importance of teamwork in high-stakes situations.
