Tough Guys

Harry Doyle and Archie Lang, seasoned train robbers who were incarcerated for thirty years after pulling off a heist in 1956, find themselves released from jail and navigating the challenges of a world that has greatly evolved since they first stepped into a life of crime. As they tentatively adapt to their newfound freedom, they discover that their instincts and skills have not entirely deserted them when a bank trip to collect their prison checks unwittingly becomes an opportunity for them to thwart a robbery attempt. The film explores themes of second chances and the enduring spirit of two men who, despite the passage of time and societal changes, are still able to find moments of triumph in the face of adversity.
