In this zany comedy adventure, two eternal stoners, Cheech and Chong, embark on a chaotic journey through Los Angeles as they navigate unemployment and unexpected challenges. When Cheech loses his job, he and his friend end up at the welfare office where Donna, Cheech's girlfriend, works. Instead of collecting unemployment benefits, their misadventures send them back out onto the streets in search of new sources of income. Just as they begin to adapt to their new reality, Cheech's cousin Red Mendoza arrives, adding fuel to the fire and amplifying the madness. Together, this trio of pot-loving comrades face one absurd situation after another, as they stumble through the city, leaving a trail of laughter in their wake.
