Mazinger Edition Z: The Impact!

"Mazinger Z" tells the story of a supernatural energy called Photon Power, developed from Japanese ore and desired by Dr. Hell for world domination. Alongside his minions Baron Ashura and Count Brocken, he commands the Machine Beasts that have been excavated on Bardos Island to seize this power for himself. The protagonist, Kouji Kabuto, is a passionate teenager who pilots Mazinger Z – a super robot built by his grandfather Juzo out of Chogokin Z, the strongest metal. As Kouji and Dr. Hell clash in an epic battle, ancient legends surrounding the Mycenaean Civilization and Bardos Island remain enigmatic, as well as the secrets behind Mazinger Z's capabilities.
