As Yotaro starts his training under Yakumo's guidance, he not only learns about the art of storytelling but also encounters the complex dynamics within their community. Among them is Konatsu, Yakumo's ward and the daughter of a renowned storyteller who perished tragically. Though she dreams of pursuing her own performing career like her father, societal norms prohibit women from taking that path.
