Blue Spring Ride

In a tender coming-of-age story, we follow Futaba Yoshioka as she navigates the complexities of high school life and unexpectedly crosses paths with her long-lost first love, Kou Tanaka, now going by Mabuchi. Three years prior, Kou had transferred schools before they could explore their feelings for one another. Now reunited, Futaba is taken aback by the transformation in Kou's demeanor and new identity, as he exudes a more composed and confident air. As the pair cautiously rekindle their romance, they also embark on a journey to unravel the events that shaped their lives during their time apart. The film offers a poignant reflection on love, growth, and self-discovery in the midst of adolescent turmoil.
