This poignant biographical drama recounts the untold story of Olga Benário, a German-Brazilian woman whose life and untimely demise were shaped by the tumultuous political landscape of early 20th century Brazil and Europe. During Getúlio Vargas' oppressive rule in Brazil, her husband Luís Carlos Prestes was a prominent communist figure, but Olga's German heritage led to dire consequences when she too fell into the hands of authorities.
