In a serene Pennsylvania countryside, John Chambers and his family settle into their new home, only for John to be plagued by sleep paralysis, a condition that leaves him powerless to move or scream as he is visited by otherworldly beings. These spectral entities are elusive, appearing in the shadows' fringes when one's gaze briefly strays.
