Nestled within the rugged landscape of Iceland, two isolated brothers, Gummi and Kiddi, dedicate their lives to tending their highly esteemed ancestral sheep. The proud guardians of a prized lineage, they continually receive accolades for their exceptional rams. Strangely enough, these two share the same land yet have not spoken to each other in over four decades. When an unexpected and lethal disease ravages Kiddi's flock, their entire valley is placed at risk. Authorities swiftly decide on culling all the animals in the area to control the outbreak. However, Gummi and Kiddi's unwavering determination leads them to devise separate plans in an attempt to save their livelihood: Kiddi relies on his marksmanship while Gummi utilizes his cleverness. This thought-provoking film explores themes of family ties, resilience in the face of adversity, and the lengths people will go for their passions.
