Marc, a filmmaker struggling with bipolarity and paranoia, feels his latest project being dismantled by his producers. Glimpsing clips from their work sparks anxiety, leading him to secretly steal the rushes with help from his editor. They escape to Marc's aunt's residence in the idyllic Cévennes region, intending to complete the film according to his vision. However, progress remains elusive as he devises a series of whimsical and occasionally unsettling distractions that prolong the project's completion, delving into the complexities of mental health and artistic expression.
