Michael Newman, a dedicated workaholic, struggles to strike a balance between his high-pressure career and his neglected family life. His sole ambition is to gain the promotion he feels entitled to at the expense of his relationship with his wife and children. One day, serendipity leads him to Morty, an eccentric sales clerk who offers Michael a mysterious remote control. This seemingly miraculous device grants Michael the ability to bypass any aspect of life he deems unimportant or bothersome. However, as he begins to experiment with its powers, the comedic and chaotic consequences escalate, forcing him to confront whether his obsession with professional success is truly worth the price paid in personal relationships and happiness.
