In this lighthearted adventure, following the demise of Saizou, Kabamaru's stern grandfather and iga ninja mentor, the young boy embarks on an unexpected journey accompanied by Ran Akoko, a kind-hearted elderly woman. As per the late Saizou's allegedly penned letter, Kabamaru leaves behind his traditional ninja life for the bustling city of Tokyo. The young protagonist quickly learns that life in this urban setting is not as simple as it seems; he grapples with unfamiliar culinary delights like yakisoba and ramen while navigating an eccentric school environment, filled with peculiarities that stand in stark contrast to his ninja training. This whimsical tale weaves together themes of cultural discovery, friendship, and adapting to new circumstances amid the backdrop of Tokyo's vibrant cityscape.
