An Ordered Life

In this poignant drama, we follow the harrowing journey of Anton Webern, a gifted German composer skillfully portrayed by Colin Jeavons. Amidst the turbulence of World War II, Webern miraculously evades the clutches of Naziism only to tragically meet his end at the hands of an American soldier towards the war's conclusion. Parallel to this storyline is the tale of Stephen, Anton's passionate yet misguided son played by Daniel Gerroll. Against his father's earnest wishes, Stephen enlists in the Wehrmacht and ultimately perishes in a railway accident in 1943.
