Asphalt Night

In the gritty streets of Berlin, "The Unexpected Melody" tells a story of an improbable bond between two disparate souls: a jaded thirty-year-old rock 'n roll musician named Angel, and a rebellious seventeen-year-old punk named Johnny. Angel, seeking to reignite his creative spark, traverses the city in his drag-racer, struggling to break free from an artistic block. When he happens upon Johnny, a young misfit on the run from the law, motorcycle gangs, and passersby, Angel extends a hand of friendship - and more than that, discovers a new creative direction when Johnny plucks out a tune on his guitar that resonates deeply with him. Inspired, the duo ventures into Berlin's vibrant nightlife scene to uncover the rest of the song and forge an unexpected connection amidst their shared experiences and challenges.
