Nawa de okasu

In this haunting tale of exploitation, Satoko, a young girl coping with unimaginable loss, is introduced to an environment fraught with danger and cruelty. After her parents' tragic suicide, she finds refuge in the hot springs inn owned by Anzai, who appears compassionate at first glance but soon reveals his sinister intentions. As Satoko struggles with her fragile state of mind and the torment inflicted upon her, a glimmer of hope emerges in the form of Shozo, the inn's servant. However, Shozo's decision to steal money from the inn and accidentally kill Matsuo, the clerk who assaulted Satoko, unravels his own moral compass. Despite their shared misfortunes, Satoko is left abandoned, subjected to Anzai's grotesque torment that questions the very nature of humanity and survival.
