Leon de Paris, a humble dog barber in Paris, longs for more fulfillment in his life. With the financial assistance from his less-than-ideal mother-in-law, Fanny, he establishes a sophisticated "Coiffeur pour homme" (men's hairdresser) in Rome. However, this newfound success brings complications to his personal life and forces him to conceal his true sexuality for professional reasons.Growing increasingly dissatisfied with his deception, Leon devises a plan to put an end to the turmoil. He enlists the help of "Er Cuculo", a B-grade gangster, in executing a simulated robbery. The true intention behind this ruse is to abscond with all the money Fanny has invested and escape together to Monte Carlo. As Leon embarks on this unconventional journey, the question arises: can he and Er Cuculo successfully execute their scheme and finally break free from their current predicaments?
