Sam, an enthusiastic football player, has just started working at a local brickyard as a helper. His new boss holds a leadership position within the community's football team, offering Sam the opportunity to work while pursuing his passion for sports. As he navigates his first week amidst the gritty reality of manual labor, Sam forms an unexpected connection with Louis, a seasoned worker approaching retirement age. Both men find themselves disillusioned by the shady dealings of a city company that dumps waste on their land and begin to question the involvement of their boss in these illicit activities. The film explores their contrasting reactions as Sam faces the temptation to follow Louis' rebellious path or succumb to the predictability and routine that comes with growing older.
