Firstborn

In a world of rapidly changing family dynamics, sixteen-year-old Jake finds himself thrust into the role of the head of his household following his parent's divorce. As time goes by, Jake's mother starts dating Sam, an ambitious yet seemingly good-natured man who is constantly seeking new ways to make money quickly. Unwilling to relinquish his responsibilities, Jake accepts Sam as a part of their family. However, when he discovers that Sam's methods involve questionable and possibly criminal activities, Jake faces a moral dilemma - whether to confront Sam and risk losing the sense of stability he has tried so hard to maintain for his family or to turn a blind eye and protect the newfound peace they have found.
