The One

In the harrowing narrative of survival and resilience, we find Larisa Savitskaya and her husband Vladimir on board a civilian aircraft en route from Komsomolsk-on-Amur to Blagoveshchensk in August 1981. Tragedy strikes as their AN-24 plane collides with another aircraft 30 minutes before landing, shattering into pieces at an altitude of over 5 kilometers. Miraculously, Larisa comes to consciousness amidst the wreckage deep within the unforgiving Siberian taiga.
