Seventeen-year-old Kevin steps into an unfamiliar world after being released from prison for violent behavior. He's welcomed by his aunt and her family, including his cousin Sammy. As Kevin learns the ropes as a plumber apprentice, he also begins to integrate with Sammy's high school friends - a lively bunch who primarily focus on parties and disregarding their responsibilities. However, they soon discover that one of them is struggling with a deep-seated issue at home, which threatens the entire group and forces them to navigate new challenges in an attempt to help their friend.
